2010 VCS Conference Details – BOOK NOW!
As per previous updates, we will be holding our annual conference for the Buckinghamshire Voluntary & Community sector on Wednesday 3rd March at Latimer Place near Chesham.
Details have now been confirmed and an invitation with booking form is available to download below.
Last year we had to turn people away due to the huge demand for places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Notice of a Special General Meeting
Wednesday 3rd February 2010- 12 Noon at the Priory Centre.
The Chairman of the Priory Centre has called a Special General Meeting to consider the resolution to merge with our Voluntary Impact partners, Buckinghamshire Community Action, Vale Volunteers and Voluntary Action (Chiltern & South Bucks).
All members, stakeholders and any other interested parties are welcome to attend this important meeting in the future direction of our consortium.

Leadership in multi-agency settings course
Bucks New University
Suitable for voluntary sector managers who work to deliver services in partnership with statutory organisations, this short course starting in February is designed to develop theoretical knowledge and enhance professional leadership skills.

Vetting & Barring briefings
Tuesday 23rd February and Wednesday 24th March, 9:30am–Noon at the Priory Centre.
Due to demand we are repeating the successful briefing event held in January.
FREE information events on new legislation regarding staff & volunteers who work with children, young people and vulnerable adults. The Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA), CRB checks etc. and the implications for your organisation will be discussed.

Photocopier free to good home.
A Minolta Dialta Di 152 photocopier has been donated to us in need of a new home.

The copier only has an A4 copying tray, not A3, we have tested the basic functions and everything seems to work OK and the print quality is good, not sure how long the toner will last.
